How to contact the Commission by email. 

1.  irc_client_services@justice.nsw.gov.au  

What:  

• Electronic or soft copies of submissions or other documents filed in accordance with Practice Note 30 – Filing of documents in Computer Readable Format   

• Electronic or soft copies of any other document or correspondence that has been directed to be filed by a Member or the Industrial Registrar

• Correspondence or documents directed to the Industrial Registrar other than correspondence relating to Awards, Contract Agreements or .Enterprise Agreements.  
  

• Filing of s130 dispute notifications

• Matters to which Rule 6.3 of the Industrial Relations Commission Rules 2009 apply

• Electronic or soft copies of any other document or correspondence that has been directed to be filed by a Member or the Industrial Registrar      

• Correspondence or documents directed to the Industrial Registrar in relation to Awards, Contract Agreements or Enterprise Agreements.

Note: There are only very limited circumstances where you are only allowed to file a soft copy (or electronic version) of documents or submissions. If unsure please contact the Registry on 02 8688 3516

Awards, Enterprise Agreements, Rates of Pay &c.

• The IRC does not interpret awards, enterprise agreements, contract determinations, rates of pay or award conditions. 
  

• Please contact the NSW Office of Industrial Relations on 131 628 or the Fair Work Ombudsman for Federal Awards on 131 394.

After Hours Emergency Contact Service

The Commission provides an after hours contact service 

• for those parties who have a serious industrial dispute which cannot wait to be lodged until the following working day or 
  
• when parties have initiated strike action and the urgent intervention of the Commission is required.
