    There are four email addresses that can be used to contact the Commission :

    What:  

    • Electronic or soft copies of submissions or other documents filed in accordance with Practice Note 30 – Filing of documents in Computer Readable Format   

    • Electronic or soft copies of any other document or correspondence that has been directed to be filed by a Member or the Industrial Registrar

    • Correspondence or documents directed to the Industrial Registrar other than correspondence relating to Awards, Contract Agreements or .Enterprise Agreements.  

    Note well: There are only very limited circumstances where you are only allowed to file a soft copy (or electronic version) of documents or submissions. If unsure please contact the Registry on 02.9258 0866

    What:

    • Matters to which Rule 6.3 of the Industrial Relations Commission Rules 2009 apply

    • Awards, Enterprise Agreements, Rates of Pay &c. - The IRC does not interpret awards, enterprise agreements, contract determinations, rates of pay or award conditions. Please contact the NSW Office of Industrial Relations on 131 628 or the Fair Work Ombudsman for Federal Awards on 131394.

    • Equal Opportunity, Anti-discrimination or Harassment - The IRC does not provide information on equal opportunity, anti-discrimination or harassment matters. The Anti-Discrimination Board can be reached on (02) 9268 5544 .

    • Work Health and Safety or Workers Compensation - The IRC does not provide information about work health and safety or workers compensation. Please contact WorkCover NSW on 131050 or see their contact page.

     

    After Hours Emergency Contact Service

    The Commission provides an after hours contact service for those parties who have a serious industrial dispute which cannot wait to be lodged until the following working day, or when parties have initiated strike action and the urgent intervention of the Commission is required. Please do not call this number to discuss your dismissal from employment or other grievance. Contact should be made with the Registry during normal business hours for this service.
