Announcement : Practice Direction No. 15 - Filing of Awards in Computer Readable Format under Rule 32

The Commission has released a new Practice Direction which will be published in the Industrial Gazette of 12th November 2004 and take effect from 26th November 2004.

The purposes of Practice Direction 15 are:

  • to facilitate the processing of Awards and Contract Determinations of the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales by emphasising and giving effect to the requirements of Rul​e 32 of the Industrial Relations Commission Rules 1996
    • to provide guidance for Members of the Commission and applicants appearing before the Commission on the steps necessary to ensure that Awards made by the Commission are publicly available in a timely manner and thus readily enforceable.
